Mercy Medical Center Cambodia (MMCC) is a non-profit Mission Training Hospital located south of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Vision of MMCC is to see a fully staffed mission training hospital that is: Cambodian-led; training national healthcare workers to care for the impoverished and underserved and maintaining the 4P mission through regional outreach centers. MMCC employs 112 Cambodian staff, including 12 Cambodian Attending Physicians and 10 Residents in training. All Expatriate Attending physicians are volunteer faculty, representing primary care, surgical and other specialties. MMCC is equipped with a top quality surgical suite, including pre-op, post-op and sterilization facilities.

Residency Training Program

This three-year full-time program trains Cambodian medical school graduates to become experienced doctors. Residents learn from volunteer expatriate and Cambodian attending doctors helping to care for patients in our outpatient department and inpatient ward.

The Hospital Mission

​The hospital has a four-fold mission to PROCLAIM Christ in word and deed, PROVIDE excellent healthcare to the poor and underserved, PREPARE and disciple national healthcare workers, and PARTNER with the Cambodian church and like-minded communities.

Women's Health

MMC runs a one year women’s health fellowship for graduates to get focused training on women’s health issues prevalent in Cambodia. MMC conducts community-based education and screening, with a focus on cervical cancer prevention and treatment.
